Dungeon Lootr Aspect Tier List

This community ranking favors consistent damage, useful triggers and compatibility with strong class playstyles. Balance changes and class pairings can move an Aspect up or down.

Current practical Aspect ranking — September 2026
TierAspectsBest use
SBlaze, Ruin, Alacrity, TempestTop damage choices for basic attacks, bosses or skill rotations
AUmbral, SanguineCritical-hit burst or sustain in difficult solo content
BFulmin, VerdantPack control, lightning AoE or longer damage-over-time fights
CAegis, Phantom, GlacialParry, dodge or freeze setups that need more specific play

Blaze is easy to use on fast-hitting classes because its value begins with ordinary attacks. Ruin is strongest when you can stay on one target and build pressure, which makes it attractive for boss encounters. Alacrity rewards rapid basic-attack loops, while Tempest turns repeated skill use into a growing damage cycle.

A lower tier does not mean an Aspect has no purpose. Aegis rewards successful parries, Phantom responds to dodges, and Glacial adds freeze and shatter utility. They simply ask for a narrower trigger than the top options. If that trigger already matches your class and playstyle, keeping the Aspect can be better than spending another gem immediately.

What Are Aspects in Dungeon Lootr?

An Aspect adds a passive combat effect to the equipped class without changing that class's core moveset.

The passive can react to basic attacks, critical hits, skill casts, parries or dodges. Some effects add direct damage or crowd control; others create a temporary damage window, healing or a stacking bonus. That trigger is the most important part of the choice. A class that activates an effect constantly can outperform a theoretically stronger pairing that rarely triggers.

Aspects are bound to the class that receives them. Switching to another class does not move the passive with you, so decide which class deserves the gem before rolling. Extra class slots make experimentation safer because you can keep a useful pairing while building a second one.

The current release has 11 commonly documented names: Blaze, Glacial, Fulmin, Aegis, Verdant, Sanguine, Umbral, Tempest, Phantom, Ruin and Alacrity. Exact effect values can move with patches, so use the class panel tooltip when a number determines a major build decision.

Best Dungeon Lootr Aspects for Different Builds

Fast basic-attack classes

Blaze and Alacrity fit classes that can produce many basic hits in a short window. More hits mean more chances to open their damage or speed effects. Ruin is also valuable when that rapid pressure stays on one boss.

  • Use Blaze for simple, consistent pressure across rooms.
  • Use Alacrity when attack speed drives the whole rotation.
  • Use Ruin when single-target boss damage matters most.

Skill-focused classes

Tempest is the natural first choice when a class cycles abilities frequently and relies on skill damage. Fulmin can support slower setups by stunning groups long enough to complete a rotation.

  • Use Tempest for repeated skill casts and a growing payoff.
  • Use Fulmin when AoE control helps land the next ability.

Solo survival

Sanguine is useful when recovery keeps a run alive. Aegis rewards confident parry timing, while Phantom serves players who dodge consistently. These choices trade some universal damage for a mechanic that can make difficult content safer.

Critical-hit builds

Umbral belongs on a build that already creates critical hits often. Without that foundation the passive will feel inconsistent, but a prepared crit setup turns its burst into a regular part of the rotation.

How to Get and Use Aspect Gems

Aspect Gems apply a random Aspect to the class you currently have equipped.

The working code GIVEMEGEMSPLEASE grants three Aspect Gems, making it the fastest current starting point. Challenge Dungeon milestone rewards can also supply gems later in progression. Because the result is random, save spare gems until you have a class worth improving instead of rolling every temporary early-game class.

A normal class Spin can also arrive with an Aspect. Check the class panel after rolling before spending a separate gem, especially when you are trying to preserve limited resources.

  1. 1

    Choose the class

Equip the class you plan to keep and confirm you are not about to overwrite a valuable pairing.

  2. 2

    Use an Aspect Gem

Open your inventory, select the gem and use it once to roll a random passive onto that class.

  3. 3

    Read the class panel

Check the Aspect name and its current tooltip on the class after the roll completes.

  4. 4

    Test the trigger

Use the training area to try basic attacks, skills, parries or dodges until you understand how the effect activates.

How to Choose an Aspect

Choose for activation frequency first, combat goal second and tier position third.

Watch how the class spends most of a fight. If basic attacks fill the gaps between every ability, an on-hit Aspect has many chances to work. If the class wins through large skill rotations, Tempest is easier to activate than a parry passive. If failed runs are the main problem, sustain or control may create more progress than another damage effect.

Separate room clearing from bosses. Blaze and Fulmin can make repeated groups easier, while Ruin becomes more attractive when pressure stays on one durable target. A player farming Boss Rush may value a different passive from a new account clearing normal rooms.

Do not reroll a useful match simply because another name sits one tier higher. Gems are random, and the next result may fit the class worse. Keep a strong working pair until you have enough spare resources to accept an uncertain outcome.

Blaze, Ruin, Alacrity and Tempest are the strongest general choices in the current practical ranking. The best one for your account depends on whether the class relies on basic attacks, single-target pressure or repeated skills.

How do Aspect Gems work?

An Aspect Gem rolls one random passive onto the class you have equipped. Choose the class first, use the gem from inventory and check the new passive on the class panel.

Can I move an Aspect to another class?
